Garland Commons

Garland Commons opened in 2024 and includes 160 units (one- and two-bedroom options) for people ages 55-plus. Garland Commons offers reduced rents for residents at 50% to 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI).

Village to Village Network

The "village" model is when older residents of a neighborhood or community form a nonprofit community group to help one another remain in their own homes as they age. Villages coordinate access to affordable services including transportation, health and wellness programs, home repairs, social activities, and any others that village members choose.
No villages yet exist in Maple Grove, but any group of community members can initiate one. The VtV Network provides support and resources in the process.
